Lectures

The following list of lecture/slide shows is available for universities, museums and camera clubs. Please refer to the other web pages for more detailed background info and images. Each lecture is original and lasts about one hour followed by a question/answer period.

I began giving slide lectures in the 1980's. Venues include many of my museum exhibits, universities in the USA and abroad, camera clubs and private social groups.

Backstage and India
is a smorgasbord of my two series, the highlights of all the most frequently published favorite images and most amusing moments.

Women and Tribes of India
is my series using three distinct styles of portrait photography to capture women of all ages, careers and religions in India plus the US and European Diaspora.

Art in Tribal Photography
is a dialog designed for anthropology students and their professors. Such issues as "the decisive moment", field techniques and social observations are traded.

COMING SOON

World Signage
is an amusing look at advertising signs the world over. This lecture can be slanted toward either the general public or university students studying art or social issues.
